Fish et Frites

Since moving to the Limousin in the spring of 2006 we have concentrated most of our time and effort on our children, particularly their education, renovating the house and integrating into our local community.  Now we are settled we have turned our thoughts to ensuring we can earn enough to enable us to continue living in France.

2008 sees us taking our integration one step further by creating our own business. 

Fish et Frites has been formed to satisfy a need in the market that was first noticed by us in the summer of 2004 when we took a family holiday in the area.

Fish and Chips are one of the tastiest meals you can get. A wholesome, natural product with no additives and, believe it or not, the healthiest of all the takeaways.

Our business aim is simple - to import a traditional taste direct from the UK - and in order to achieve this, our menu covers a selection of dishes which are focused around the time honoured Fish and Chip Shop.  All our meals, with the exception of the pies, are freshly cooked to order.

Cooked to perfection and offered at reasonable prices you can choose from the following: Cod, Sausage, or Fish Cake and Chips, a selection of the well known Pukka Pies and maybe a side order to compliment your meal of either mushy peas or curry sauce.   We are also licensed so you may like a chilled bottle of beer to wash it all down with!
